Sewage Fixed, And Not Much Else, At Dryersdale Village Apartments
Dr. Candice Matthews returned Thursday to the Dyersdale Village Apartments at 9700 Mesa Drive, accompanied by City of Houston health and code inspectors. According to Matthews, little has improved since the prior inspection.
City inspectors confirmed that a sewage backup discovered during the previous visit was repaired by the City of Houston, not by the apartment complex. During the latest walkthrough, inspectors and Matthews again documented mold, rat and mouse droppings, large and small roach infestations, and multiple code violations. Several citations were issued to the property’s management as a result of the findings.
