13 Year Old Killed in Stabbing Attack By 10 Year Old

A 13-year-old girl has died following a stabbing during a large fight Wednesday night at an apartment complex in northwest Houston, according to authorities.

The incident occurred at approximately 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at an apartment complex located at 8047 Grow Lane. Officials say a large altercation involving an estimated 20 to 40 people broke out at the location. Multiple juveniles were among those involved in the fight.

During the disturbance, a 10-year-old boy allegedly retrieved a knife and stabbed a 13-year-old girl. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported the girl to a nearby hospital for treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, she was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

Authorities have not released additional details regarding what led up to the fight or what charges, if any, may be filed. The incident remains under investigation.
