Severe Living Conditions Uncovered at Crofton Place Apartments in Houston
HOUSTON, Texas – Dr. Candice Matthews and her team are bringing attention to serious health and safety concerns at Crofton Place Apartments, located near Crofton Street and Tidwell Road in north Houston.
During a recent investigation, the team documented numerous hazardous conditions throughout the property, including rat infestations, roaches, mold, termite damage, active water leaks, raw sewage, and an active gas leak.
The findings raise concerns about the safety and well-being of residents living at the complex. Exposure to mold, sewage, pests, and gas leaks can create significant health risks, particularly for children, seniors, and individuals with existing medical conditions.
Dr. Matthews said these conditions highlight the importance of holding apartment owners and management companies accountable when residents report ongoing issues that remain unresolved.
The investigation is part of a broader effort to expose unsafe housing conditions and encourage tenants to document problems, report them to management, and seek assistance when necessary.
Crofton Place Apartments management has not publicly responded to the findings.
